Currently, Illinois Zoom AI Companion does not rely on, or allow for permanent meeting transcripts as a part of AI companion functionality. The second option is “Gallery view.” This option shows off all users’ profile images (or video images, if their cameras are turned on) at once. This feature allows your meeting participants to ask questions to AI Companion during a meeting. Questions are answered based on the conversation transcript. When sharing your screen, your chat box and view of others participants’ videos or profile images will disappear.
The second option is “Side-by-side Gallery.” This moves the participants’ videos or profile images into a column to the right of the shared content. You can also pin someone’s video or profile image to the center of the screen. To do this, right-click the blue 3 dots button (…) in the top right corner of their video or profile image and select Add Pin from the drop-down menu. This positions their video or profile image in the center of the screen. If there are not more than 5 participants then Zoom will default to the gallery view.
When someone else is sharing their screen in a meeting where you’re a participant, the default is for your Zoom screen to enter full-screen. There are two methods of minimizing your Zoom meeting so that you can look at something else on your screen while the meeting is happening. Please note that you can only minimize Zoom if you are not in full-screen mode. To exit out of full-screen mode, press ESC on your computer keyboard.
The first option is “Speaker view.” This option displays the video or profile image of the person who is currently speaking in the center of the screen. Depending on how your IT Pro updates software on your machine these updates may be automatically loaded onto your computer and you simply need to restart your machine. However, in the event you must manually update the software please follow the instructions below. If you have any questions or concerns about Zoom software availability on the Software Center, or further assistance on updating, please reach out to your local IT Pro or staff support office.
This article will go over how to access the Timer app in Zoom’s settings and its different features. The final option is “Immersive view.” This option allows hosts to place video participants onto a virtual background. Once you sign in, you will be taken to your Zoom profile page.
When someone in the meeting is screen sharing, your display options in the “View” menu will change. The first option is “Standard view.” This prominently displays the shared content in the center of the screen and places all participants’ videos or profile images above. This feature allows meetings hosts to generate a meeting summary for their meetings. Sharing options can adjust who receives the summary after the meeting has ended. Permanent meeting transcripts can be stored as a part of a cloud recording or generated from a recording at Illinois MediaSpace.
The application will automatically download when you join your first meeting, but if you would like to download it ahead of time please visit the download page. Please note that the application will automatically begin to download once you click this link. This shows the participants and the screen being shared on a virtual background. If you receive the following message, “Your account is blocked for 30 minutes due to reaching the maximum 6 failed login attempts.” You may have a stored password that is causing issues for you.
In order to use all the features of Zoom during your meetings, you will need to use the Zoom desktop application. After you have clicked the raise hand button, the hand icon will appear next to your name in the participants listing. Please wait patiently for your teacher to notice and call on you. Zoom recently added a Zoom timer app that can help time presentations, manage meeting lengths, and more.
In the row labeled “License Type” you should be listed as “Licensed” (previously called Pro). If your user type is “Basic,” please contact the Help Desk to get your account configured. Zoom meetings can be started and scheduled using many different applications. Retention of Zoom cloud recordings will be increased to 180 days. Before you do anything with Zoom, you will have to activate your account by going to illinois.zoom.us.
The third option is “Side-by-side Speaker.” This is similar to the side-by-side gallery option, but will only show the video or profile image of the participant who is sharing their screen. There are four basic display options in Zoom when nobody is screen sharing. To access these options, click LexaTrade Review the “View” icon in the top right of the Zoom screen to see a drop-down menu.
